ALAS currently has a portfolio of live courses which includes:

Instrusion Alarms - This course was designed as the introductory level of a training program to give the technicians a basis of knowledge for the installation of electronic alarms. Students need to take a pre-requisite and final exam. Upon passing, they are granted an ALAS certificate and card as certified field technicians.

 

 
Access Control - The SIA Access Control Interest Group works in the assessment of the needs of the manufacturing, installation, sales and service sectors of the industry. With the assistance of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) developed this basic course as the first in a series of courses for full system installer training. ALAS has the rights of this course for Latin
America.
 
CCTV 1 - This course includes theory of video, cameras, lightning, lenses specification and selection, transmission methods, monitors, sequencers and matrix systems, time lapse and digital recording, project assessment, failure verification, review of visual security principles, introduction to digital video, analog video, digital hybrid cameras, digital video evidence, digital recorders, digital characteristics and programs of the modern CCTV systems.
   
CCTV 2 - The course objective is to gain knowledge on how the industry has advanced in the areas of digital image processing, digital recording, remote image transmission and knowledge of network data applied to the video security industry. Providing advanced knowledge on the new digital cameras, real matrixes moulds and virtual matrixes, IP cameras, digital video, security information technology for video network and practical applications. To participate in this course, the completion of CCTV Basic Level 1 course is required as well as to have clear understanding of electronics and fiber- optics, knowledge on the different topology configurations and basic characteristics of the administration equipment and image capture.

Fire Alarm and Detection - This course is aimed towards the design, installation and implementation criteria needed by the technicians and engineers involved in the fire prevention industry or those who are starting in the field of design, operation, maintenance and inspection of fire alarm and detection.

 

 
Perimeter Security - Through these basic concepts, methodology and examples we offer tools and adequate criteria to plan an orderly and responsible perimeter security. The main objective of this program is to demonstrate the adequate integration of people, procedures and equipment in a given project. It is possible to improve perimeter security in a place by reducing the number of false alarms and by meeting the general physical objectives established..
 

 

All these courses are presented within Latin American countries and in Spanish by certified instructors with wide experience in the electronic security industry.
