Carlos Guzmán Díaz is an international security consultant and specialist in electronic security systems integration and project engineering. He has been a consultant for over 20 years in the areas of study elaboration relating to risk, disaster situation plans and security among others. During his flight, he has been in positions of management in technical & training fields. Currently, he is the Technical Training Coordinator for the Latin American Security Association (ALAS), lecturing in all of Latin America.



 

Eduardo Eguiluz
Fire Alarm & Detection Instructor

Eduardo Eguiluz Navarro is a mechanical & electrical engineer specializing in electronic systems, electronics & telecommunication. He has 20 yeas of industry experience, during which he has worked as a Project Manager, Export Manager, Integrated Systems Manager, Regional Sales Manager for Grinell Fire Protection Systems (Mexico), Johnson Controls (Mexico), Grinell Fire Protection Systems (Latin America), Honeywell Fire Solutions Group – Notifier Division and Honeywell Fire Solutions Group – System Sensor Division. He also has vast experience as an international lecturer and Fire System instructor in Latin America.


 
 

Germán Alexis Cortes
CCTV Levels 1 & 2 Instructor

Germán Alexis Cortés is an independent consultant and electronic engineer with 18 years experience in the electronic security industry and postgraduate studies in management of engineering projects and specialization in electronic security and automation. He holds a CCP of ASIS and CISSP of ISC. He has vast experience as a university teacher and lecturer of electronic security topics. Currently he manages his own consulting & electronic security projects & automation company.

 

 

Sergio Rivera García
Perimeter Security Instructor

Sergio Rivera García is an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer (Panamericana University, México D.F., México) and has over 10 years of experience in the perimeter security area, with training in perimeter sensors in Canada, United States and Israel. Sergio has experience in planning of high risk perimeter security projects in most of Latin American countries in different projects such as airports, prisons, electric transmission/generation plants, oil industry, mining industry and ports. In addition, he has lectured conferences & presentations on perimeter security and sensor technology in various international security events in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Peru & Venezuela. Along his career, he has also had managerial jobs in the technical & commercial area of various firms dedicated to the development and manufacturing of perimeter sensors. He is a member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) and holds a PSP certification (Physical Security Professional) by the same organization.

 

 

Gonzalo Francisco García
Access Control Instructor
Technical Alarms Instructor

Gonzalo Francisco García is an electronic technician and Certified International ALAS instructor – CANASA in the Technical Alarms and Access Control courses. He serves as technical consultant for the Córdoba Police (Argentina) and a member of the Argentinian – Mediterranean ASIS Chapter. He has worked in the design, counselling and installation of electronic security systems for different security companies, banks & armoured vehicles. He was the manager of the technical Department of the security company General Industries Argentina S.A and is currently the Regional Manager of the branch office of Tellex S.A. in the province of Córdoba & San Luis Santiago del Estero, Tucumán & Salta.

 

 

Eduardo Güemes
Technical Alarms Instructor

Eduardo Güemes has a degree in Communications Engineering and Electronics from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, México D.F. Eduardo has more than 25 years of experience working in the electronic security industry, mainly in the field of intrusion alarms. Since 2004, he works also as the ALAS instructor for the Alarms Technician level 1 course, ALAS CANASA, in Mexico.
