ALAS
wishes to confirm that the CCTV course in Brazil was very
well received. On November 29 & 30, the ALAS instructor,
Eric Pinto, presented this course to 7 people who were very
satisfied with the presented material & the professionalism
of the instructor. ALAS would like to thank ABINEE for their
collaboration in this course and congratulated the ALAS
Brazil team for this achievement.

participated in Seguridad E&S expo, which took place
in Bogotá, Colombia, from October 2 to October 6.
The Association promoted its membership and established

Expo Security
Mexico will celebrate its 5th anniversary next April 24-26
at he Banamex convention center in Mexico City. With more
exhibitors, more visitors, a larger exhibition space and a
complete conference program and a variety of special events.
Expo Seguridad Mexico is the main event of electronic security
in Latin America. This event was initiated in 2003 and in
the past 4 years has united the electronic security industry
in Mexico in an event bar none. People from more than 18 countries
were present for the 2006 version confirming it’s international
following. For the 2007 version, the following firms have
confirmed their participation: Andover Controls, Bosch, DSC,
GE Security, Honeywell, HID, Indala, Infinova, Johnson Controls,

program and VIP protection
The superior
security institute of Israel (ISSI) offers this program exclusively
in Mexico from December 17 - 22. The program is run by ISSI
Israeli instructors who belong to the group korpus 1. The
training includes: Planning & execution of events for
VIP protection, analyze vulnerability, modern security, new
strategies, instinctive night and day shooting, shooting under
pressure, shooting from vehicles, krav-maga (technical Israeli
