During this month ALAS will launch the above course in the Dominican Republic. This course was put together for ALAS to expand on electronic security technical knowledge in Latin America. ALAS launched a data renewal campaign in order to keep in contact. This way, we can ensure you have the most up to date information as well as the knowledge, news and much more. CCTV I Certification
ALAS Mexico is thrilled to count on the support of companies to train its technicians via courses offered by our Association. From February 19 & 20, the CCTV I course was held in Mexico City & was attended by 31 people. You can view the list of participants at the bottom of this e-news.

Alarm Certification
ALAS Mexico also held the Intrusion Alarm course ALAS CANASA level 1. This course was lectured by Eduardo Güemes and had 31 participants.

Anixter will be present at ISC West

ISTC opens new offices in the region

ISTC, distributor of electronic security equipment has strengthened its presence in the local region by opening new offices in Costa Rica, Argentina & Trinidad. They now count with a group of engineers with recognized experience that will support (commercial & technical) all their clients in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. This expansion of the sales team confirms the strategic importance of the region and this company recognizes the importance of offering its clients better service & support in their security projects. Also, they have hired more engineers in the offices of Bogotá & Mexico, who will support clients in those regions. With this new sales group, ISTC has six regional offices plus the main office in Miami.

Join us at America´s Fire & Security Expo

At the 13th annual Americas' Fire & Security Expo, which will be held at the Convention Center, on July 24 - 26 2007, where professionals from the fire industry, the industrial security and the human security in Latin America, the Caribbean and the south east of the United States will participate. During the 3 days, this event will offer education, product demonstration from more than 250 companies and the possibility to establish new contacts. Expo Security Mexico – 5th Anniversary

Expo Security Mexico will celebrate their 5th anniversary next April 24-26 at he Banamex convention center in Mexico City. With more exhibitors, more visitors, a larger exhibition space and a complete conference program and a variety of special events. Expo Security Mexico is the main event of electronic security in Latin America. This event was initiated in 2003 and in the past 4 years has united the electronic security industry in Mexico in an event bar none.
