ALAS hires a new Business Director

Effective December 1st, ALAS hired Magaly Alvarado Donado as its new Business Development Director. In this capacity, Magaly Alvarado will be responsible for designing & implementing new strategies & projects for growing ALAS. Magaly will report directly to the ALAS Board of Directors. Originally from Colombia, Magaly Alvarado is a journalism graduate and has a masters degree from La Sorbona University in Paris, France. With vast experience in working with non profit organizations in the US, she will continue the success that ALAS has achieved over the past 10 years. “I believe that the ALAS vision and mission have an important impact the current electronic security industry. “ “The business development with new organizations is not only dependent on what each member can do, but also on the perseverance of learning every day, and to be involved in the training of each one of the people who participate in this process.” ALAS’ main mission is to influence initiatives and education levels in the Latin American electronic security industry, by increasing the level of professionalism in this sector. Fire Monitoring system

Changes to OZ Vision

Bosch qualification program in Mexico

Bosch Security systems and the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) via the Coordinación de Desarrollo Académico Tecnológico (CODAT) invite you to participate in the electronic security systems & network infrastructure courses held in Mexico City at the UIA campus. During this course the participants will gain knowledge on the applications, security mechanism and the most common problems of digital networking (TCP-IP) applied to the security systems market & CCTV. You will also gain basic knowledge on digital systems and networks, network connection equipment as well as different transmission media, define and understand the use of network protocol, different types of IP direction, MAC and how to configure a TCP-IP. You will also gain knowledge on the different tools used for network diagnostics and the most common techniques to compress video. The course is directed to professionals, consultants, sales people, supervisors and technicians with or without previous network knowledge. This course is composed of three modules offered on different dates for your convenience:

Quaddrix opens branch office in Hong Kong
